Mentorify exists because getting into UK Medicine shouldn't depend on who you know or what you can afford to pay a consultant. Here's what we stand for, and who's behind it.
We didn't want to build another generic advice site. We wanted the thing we wished existed when we were applying.
We started Mentorify because the application process for UK Medicine felt harder than it needed to be, not because the content is difficult, but because good advice was scattered, generic, or locked behind expensive consultants that not every family can afford.
We began as a small tutoring service, matching students with tutors who'd genuinely been through the process themselves rather than people simply working through a textbook. From there, we kept building on the same idea: real experience, explained properly, made available to anyone who needs it.
We're still adding to what we offer. What hasn't changed is the standard we hold everything to: if it wouldn't have actually helped us, we don't put it out.
Everyone on our team has actually been through what they're helping with, not just read about it.
We explain things properly, from the beginning, whether you're starting in Year 10 or the week of your application.
Good guidance shouldn't depend on connections or how much you can afford to spend on it.
Mentorify was founded by Aadi Sreekanth, a 4th year medical student at King's College London. Aadi scored in the top 1% nationally on the UCAT and received interview invitations from all four medical schools he applied to.
Mentorify began by remembering exactly how disorienting the application process felt from the outside, and how much of a difference it made once someone finally explained it properly. That's the standard we still hold everything we build to.
Today, Mentorify is a small, carefully chosen team from universities across the UK, medics and non-medics alike, all working toward the same thing: honest, experience-led support for students navigating UK Medicine and Healthcare.
