Please read these Terms carefully. These Terms are split into three parts: Part 1 covers our digital Guides, Part 2 covers our Tutoring Services, and Part 3 covers our free Webinars. By purchasing a Guide, booking a tutoring session, or signing up for a webinar, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the relevant Part of these Terms in their entirety.
"Company", "we", "us" means Mentorify Ltd. "Guide" or "Product" means any digital educational guide purchased through mentorify.co.uk. "Tutoring Services" means the 1:1 tutoring, coaching and consultation services described on our Tutoring page. "Tutor" means an independent individual engaged by Mentorify to deliver Tutoring Services. "Client" means the individual (typically a parent or guardian) who submits an enquiry or booking for Tutoring Services, whether for themselves or on behalf of a Student. "Student" means the individual receiving tutoring, who may or may not be the same person as the Client. "Webinar" means any live or waitlisted session offered under the Selfmademedics x Mentorify collaboration. "You" means the individual who completes a purchase, booking, or sign-up. "Licence" means the personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access a Guide granted upon purchase.
Upon receipt of full payment, we grant you a single-user, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and read the purchased Guide solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. This Licence is granted to you personally and may not be transferred, assigned, or shared with any other individual or entity. All intellectual property in the Guides remains the exclusive property of Mentorify Ltd.
You may access and read the Guide through your personal account on any device you personally own. You must not:
Important: Each Guide contains unique identifying information associated with your purchase. If Guide content is found to have been distributed without authorisation, we will identify the source account. Unauthorised distribution constitutes copyright infringement and breach of contract. We reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies including damages, injunctive relief, and recovery of legal costs.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your password with any person. Notify us immediately at info@mentorify.co.uk if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to be shared or used in breach of these Terms without notice and without refund.
A binding contract is formed when we confirm your payment and send you account access. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our sole discretion.
All prices are as displayed at the time of purchase. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. For purchases in currencies other than GBP, the exact amount charged depends on your bank's exchange rate.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel. However, by completing your purchase and requesting immediate access to the digital content, you expressly consent to waive this cancellation right in accordance with Regulation 37 of those Regulations.
Once you have accessed the Guide, no refund will be provided except where the Guide is materially defective or not as described. If you believe the Guide is defective, contact us at info@mentorify.co.uk within 7 days of purchase.
We take every reasonable care to ensure Guide content is accurate and up to date at the time of publication. However, university entry requirements, tuition fees, visa regulations, and government policies can change. Guides are provided for informational purposes only. Always verify critical information with official sources before making any decision. The Company makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of Guide content.
All Guide content is the intellectual property of Mentorify Ltd and is protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution constitutes copyright infringement and may result in civil and/or criminal liability.
Mentorify operates as a tutoring agency, matching Clients with Tutors for 1:1 tutoring across 11+, GCSE, A-Level, and specialist medicine-application coaching (UCAT preparation, medicine interview preparation, and application strategy consultations). Mentorify's role is to vet Tutors, facilitate matching, and arrange payment; Mentorify does not itself deliver tutoring sessions unless a member of the Mentorify team is personally acting as your Tutor.
Tutors engaged by Mentorify operate as independent contractors and are not employees, workers, or agents of Mentorify Ltd. Each Tutor is responsible for their own tax and National Insurance obligations in respect of income earned through Mentorify. While Mentorify vets each Tutor before they join our roster, including DBS checks, Mentorify does not directly supervise the day-to-day delivery of tutoring sessions.
Every Tutor on our roster is DBS-checked before working with any Student. Where the Student is under 18, the enquiry and booking must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian (the Client), who provides their own contact details alongside the Student's. Mentorify will correspond primarily with the Client, not the Student, for all administrative and safeguarding matters concerning a Student under 18. Any safeguarding concern should be raised immediately to info@mentorify.co.uk.
All communication between a Client and a Tutor in connection with Tutoring Services booked through Mentorify must take place through the messaging facility provided within the Mentorify platform. Clients and Tutors must not exchange personal contact details or arrange tutoring outside the Mentorify platform. Messages sent through the platform may be automatically scanned for indicators of this, as set out in our Privacy Policy, and may be reviewed by the Mentorify team where flagged.
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not itself constitute a booking or guarantee of a tutoring match. Mentorify will review each enquiry and, where a suitable Tutor is available, create a match between the Client and a Tutor.
Once matched, the Tutor will arrange a free, no-obligation introductory call of approximately 20 minutes with the Client (and, where appropriate, the Student) before any paid sessions are booked. No payment is required or taken for this introductory call.
Following the introductory call, the Tutor will propose one or more specific session times, which the Client may accept, decline, or discuss further with the Tutor via the Mentorify platform. Clients may also request specific session times, which the assigned Tutor may accept or decline based on their availability. A binding arrangement for specific sessions is formed only once both parties have confirmed the proposed time and the Client has completed payment for those sessions. No tutoring session will take place before payment for it has been received.
Clients may book a single session, a custom set of sessions at different times, or a recurring weekly (or other regular) arrangement, as agreed with their Tutor. Where sessions are proposed on a recurring basis, each individual session remains subject to confirmation and payment as set out above.
Prices for each subject and level are as displayed on our Tutoring page at the time of booking, and are payable to Mentorify Ltd, not directly to the Tutor. Mentorify is responsible for remunerating the Tutor for sessions delivered. Where a Client books multiple sessions at once, payment for all confirmed sessions is taken together at the time of booking.
A discount of 10% applies to the first hour of a Client's first-ever tutoring booking with Mentorify only, is applied automatically where eligible, and cannot be combined with any other offer. This discount applies once per Client across the lifetime of their account, regardless of how many different Tutors, subjects, or bookings they go on to make. Payment is processed securely via Stripe; Mentorify does not store your payment card details.
Each session is confirmed as complete once the Tutor has submitted a lesson report, or has recorded that the Student did not attend, following the session. Mentorify's remuneration of the Tutor for that session is contingent on this record being provided.
Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a booked session. Where this notice is given, we will do our best to find another suitable time with the assigned Tutor. Where less than 24 hours' notice is given, we cannot guarantee a reschedule or refund will be possible, except in specific circumstances at Mentorify's discretion. Where a Student does not attend a confirmed session with less than 24 hours' notice, that session is treated as delivered: it counts towards the Client's booked sessions and the Tutor remains entitled to payment for it.
Where a Tutor is unable to attend a confirmed session, no payment is taken from the Client for that session, it does not count towards the Client's booked sessions, and the session remains available to be rebooked at a mutually convenient time.
Where a session cannot go ahead due to an error on Mentorify's part, we will first attempt to reschedule the session. A refund will only be issued where rescheduling is genuinely not possible, and only where the issue giving rise to the missed session was on Mentorify's part.
Except as set out above, Mentorify does not offer refunds for unused sessions within a booked block. Clients are encouraged to book only the number of sessions they expect to need.
If a tutoring match is not working well for either the Client, Student, or Tutor, please contact info@mentorify.co.uk and we will assist in arranging an alternative Tutor where possible. Mentorify reserves the right to decline, pause, or end any tutoring match at its reasonable discretion, including for reasons of conduct or safeguarding.
Mentorify takes reasonable care in selecting and vetting Tutors, including DBS checks. However, as Tutors are independent contractors, Mentorify's liability in connection with the conduct or performance of any individual tutoring session is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law, save that nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
From time to time, Mentorify partners with Selfmademedics to offer free live webinars for students applying to UK Medicine and Healthcare. Webinars may be offered on a direct sign-up basis or a waitlist basis, as indicated at the time of sign-up. Joining a waitlist does not guarantee a place; confirmation and joining details will be sent separately ahead of the session.
Webinars are currently offered free of charge. Mentorify reserves the right to introduce a charge for future webinars or sessions, which will be clearly stated at the time of sign-up. Nothing in these Terms guarantees that any future session will remain free.
Attendees are expected to behave respectfully during any live session. Mentorify reserves the right to remove any attendee from a session for inappropriate conduct, without refund where a charge applies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability in respect of any Guide, tutoring booking, or webinar shall not exceed the amount you paid for that Guide, booking, or session. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Contact info@mentorify.co.uk for data-related queries.
We may terminate your Licence, account access, a tutoring arrangement, or your place at a webinar immediately without notice if you breach any provision of these Terms. No refund will be provided upon termination for breach.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.
